What is a refurbished phone?
A refurbished phone is a previously owned device that has been tested, repaired where needed, and graded by its cosmetic condition and battery health. At Upgrade, every device goes through a 70-step inspection carried out by our own technical team before it is listed.
What is the difference?
Used mobiles
These are used devices sold as-is, often with no warranty or guarantee of original accessories, which is why they come at a lower price.
Refurbished mobiles
These pre-owned devices are restored to like-new condition, with a 12-month warranty and included accessories.

Common questions
What does "refurbished" mean?
A used phone that has been tested, repaired where needed, and inspected against a 70-step standard before it is offered for sale.
Does grade affect how the phone performs?
Grade tells you two things: the cosmetic condition, and the minimum battery health — Gold 85%+, Platinum 90%+, Diamond 95%+. Every grade passes the same 70-step inspection and carries the same 12-month warranty.
What happens if something goes wrong after I buy?
Call 19759 within your warranty, return or exchange window and we'll take it from there. Keep your invoice — you'll need it.
Are taxes paid on every phone?
Yes. Every phone we sell has all its taxes paid, on every grade.
